CRICKET

VIGOR

for Mayor of Citronelle

Why I'm Running

My candidacy for Mayor is driven by a Clear Vision for progress.

Throughout my time in Citronelle, I have observed the ebb and flow of businesses, witnessing both openings and closures.

I am committed to offering a New Perspective that honors the rich history that makes Citronelle distinctive.

My objective is to support our city and its residents in realizing their Full Potential.

I am prepared to lead our City Council and various committees in our collective efforts to Advance our community.

Cricket Vigor has been the devoted wife of David Vigor for 29 years and is a proud mother to Savannah, 24, and Breighanna, 22. Her cherished companion is her tripod dog, Sadie.

With over 20 years of experience in real estate and investment, Cricket has established herself as a prominent businesswoman, consistently recognized as a top producer nationally for Berkshire Hathaway Cooper and Company Realtors, Inc. She has received numerous accolades for her outstanding job performance at both local and national levels.

As a member of Lambert Grove Baptist Church, Cricket embraces the understanding that it is not her own will, but God’s will, that truly matters.

Her diverse background equips her with a comprehensive understanding of various facets of life. A former five-sport athlete herself and the mother of two collegiate athletes, she has a deep appreciation for sports.

Cricket also nurtures a love for the arts, actively supporting her two daughters, who are competitive dancers.

Before embarking on her real estate career, she served as a volunteer firefighter and EMT, specializing in Emergency Communications as the Communications Director for Mobile County EMS at the local E-911 Center. Her greatest joy is found in helping others and providing a calm, supportive presence in their times of need.

Here's what needs to change

  • Expand dining and retail options
I will foster growth in the local economy by attracting diverse dining and retail options, creating jobs, and enriching our community’s vibrancy.

Housing

  • Promote homeownership and rental options
I will support affordable housing initiatives and community development programs to provide more homeownership and rental choices, helping retain our residents and strengthen neighborhood stability.

Parks and Recreation

  • Encourage a healthier lifestyle
I will invest in parks, recreational facilities, and wellness programs to promote health, fitness, and a higher quality of life for all citizens.
